I've only been to Mark's Place, so I can't comment on them relative to each
other, but I can tell you that it's one of the best restaurants I have ever
eaten at. The food was fantastic.. the dishes unusual but great. The
customers very stylish. It also has the highest rating for food I have ever
seen in Zagat, a 29 out of 30. If you like tuna, and they still have it,
the sesame seared tuna entree is fantastic!

Earlier this year I had the chance to visit A Mano and Mark's Place on
successive evenings. MP won hands down; AM is very good, and if atmosphere
and service are real important to you, AM may lead there. Plate-for-plate,
both in originality and execution you can't go wrong with Mark's.
